The votes are counted, and Greg Sawchuk is the new reeve of the MD of Bonnyville. Sawchuck takes the seat with an unofficial final count of 1,835. Barry Kalinski received 1,576 votes. Representing Ward 1 is Marc Jubinville with 269 votes.
