The 35-year-old woman charged with breaking into a local residence while the homeowner was present has been released from custody.
Marjorie Nicholls was was granted $1,500 cash bail after appearing in the Bonnyville Provincial Courthouse on Tuesday, Aug. 6.
Nicholls was arrested in June after RCMP identified her driving in the Bonnyville Centennial Centre parking lot.
When additional police arrived, Nicholls' co-accused, 33-year-old Anthony Marshall, fled from the vehicle on foot. He was arrested and charged.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located a crossbow, rifle ammunition, a rifle barrel, red bandana, methamphetamine, a scale, and a meth pipe.
RCMP believe Nicholls is also connected to a break-in where multiple suspects ransacked a residence, when the homeowner was present, before stealing the resident's vehicle.
As a result of these incidences, Nicholls is facing charges of unlawful confinement, robbery, and theft of a motor vehicle, among others.
She's also charged with fraud under $5,000, possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of possessing identification belonging to another person. These charges relate to other matters before the court.
Crown prosecutor Tyler MacLean said the decision to release Nicholls from custody wasn't an easy one to make.
Nicholls' release was granted under strict conditions to keep the peace, be of good behaviour, remain within her residence 24-hours per day everyday with the exception of four hours on Saturday so she can get the necessities of life. She is to abstain from the possession and consumption of alcohol and drugs, is to have no contact with any of the co-accused, reside with her father in Bonnyville, not posses any weapons, and have no financial instruments or identification documents belonging to anyone but herself, among others.
Nicholls' next court appearance is Aug. 20.
