BONNYVILLE - Dairy Queen (DQ®) Canada is celebrating a remarkable achievement as the combined efforts of DQ locations across northern Alberta have resulted in a staggering $10 million raised for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, with Bonnyville’s location raising over $6000 in 2023. The Bonnyville location has raised over $58, 000 overall.

The funds raised by DQ locations support the Stollery Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network, offering vital care to sick and injured children and their families. The Stollery Children’s Hospital responds to as many as 324,425 patient visits annually, serving the largest geographic area of any children's hospital in North America.

"This is a huge milestone for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. We want to thank the franchisees and team members at DQ locations across northern Alberta for raising $10 million for the children who need and have needed support from the Hospital," says Adam Starkman, President and CEO of Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations, in a press release.

The funds raised by DQ initiatives in northern Alberta contribute to urgent needs at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, including specialized equipment, programs, training, and research.
