BONNYVILLE – The fire ban at the MD of Bonnyville No. 87, Summer Village of Bonnyville Beach, Summer Village of Pelican Narrows, and Village of Glendon, has been lifted as of Aug. 12.
The ban was put in place on July 18 due to dry conditions, leading to suspension of all fire permits, as well as prohibition of burning on private and public lands.
With the ban being lifted, regular permitting process has now resumed.
