BONNYVILLE – A high school in the Town of Bonnyville is on alert after a positive COVID-19 case was linked to the facility.

Notre Dame High School was listed on the Alberta Health Services (AHS) school outbreak map as having between two and four cases.

Lakeland Catholic School Division (LCSD) superintendent Joe Arruda confirmed one person linked to the school tested positive while there are two presumptive cases that are going for retesting.

“All students and staff who were in close contact with the three individuals who have or may have COVID-19, have been asked to quarantine at home as per Alberta Health guidelines,” he said.
