A 23-year-old male and 21-year-old female were arrested after a concerned citizen reported an ATV parked behind a house in Kehewin.

Bonnyville RCMP responded to the Feb. 11 complaint and located the quad, which had been reported stolen after a break and enter to a local rural property late last month.

Jacob John was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property as a result of a police investigation. He has been remanded into custody following a judicial interim release hearing.

A 21-year-old female from Bonnyville was also charged and later released on an order.

Caught on video

A Bonnyville liquor store contacted RCMP on Feb. 10 following a theft.

Police attended and identified the suspect through video footage as 44-year-old Travis Slipchuk.

He was located and arrested for theft. Slipchuk was also wanted on warrants and breaches at the time.

Slipchuk has been remanded and will remain in jail until his next court appearance on March 5.
