The M.D. of Bonnyville has issued a statement regarding the death of an employee killed in an accident earlier today (June 24).
"The Council and staff of the Municipal District of Bonnyville wish to extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by the fatal accident that occurred this morning, within the municipality," reads an MD media release issued by Tracy Wasylow, Media and Communications supervisor with the MD.
"An M.D. employee was killed in an accident near the intersection of Secondary Highways 659 and 657, east of the Town of Bonnyville limits. The accident scene is under investigation. The intersection will remain closed until it is completed. The names of those involved are not being released at this time."
