Glendon death results in first degree murder charge

Police have charged a 51-year-old Glendon woman with first degree murder in connection to the death of her common law husband Kevin Feland, 44.

Police have charged a 51-year-old Glendon woman with first degree murder in connection to the death of her common law husband Kevin Feland, 44.

Feland's body was discovered on May 25th, 2014, by members of the Glendon Fire Department after responding to a residential fire in the Glendon area.

As a result of the death, the RCMP Major Crimes unit and the provincial fire investigator are engaged in this investigation. Evidence gathered thus far resulted in the charges against Deborah Doonanco of Glendon.

Doonanco is scheduled to appear in Bonnyville provincial court on Tuesday June 3rd, 2014.
