BONNYVILLE – A husband and wife have been arrested in Edmonton after Edmonton Police Service (EPS) allegedly located stolen vehicles in their possession on May 11.

Among the stolen vehicles were a truck and SUV that were reportedly stolen from the Bonnyville area.

Overnight on May 7, a Ford F150 and its keys were stolen from a garage in the area of 43 Avenue and 44 Street in Bonnyville.

Just three days later, on May 10, an SUV was stolen from the parking lot of a local tire shop on 50th Avenue at 10:30 p.m.

“The keys were left with the vehicle and the culprit was able to easily unlock, start the vehicle and drive away,” says Bonnyville RCMP.

Both the F150 and SUV were later located by EPS on May 11.

They were parked next to each other at a location with other stolen vehicles, according to police.

EPS arrested a husband and wife for being in possession of the two stolen Bonnyville vehicles. Charges are pending against the pair.
