"It really took up a lot of our police resources"
RCMP are taking the time to remind the public that hanging out on the roof of a local school ties-up resources.
“We had multiple complaints of people on the roof of both Dr. Brosseau School and Notre Dame High School,” Hillier said about the Aug. 11 incident.
The call came in at around 9:25 p.m. of multiple people on the roof of the schools.
One complainant, who was reporting three people on the rooftop of Dr. Bernard Brosseau School, said he believed there were three people "crawling around."
“Members spent a considerable amount of time patrolling the area trying to locate these people, and were unsuccessful,” noted Hillier. “We feel that these were probably some younger people, teenagers or younger kids. These things tie-up police resources, and it’s a crime to be on the roof of the school… and it’s very unsafe."

The resident brought the items into the detachment on Aug. 13.

All three of the bags have the Panthers hockey team logo on the side.
If you believe these items belong to you, contact the detachment.
