BONNYVILLE - A man who allegedly entered a camping trailer and demanded items from a victim has been charged with robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breaching a probation order.
On Sept. 28 at 1:30 p.m., Bonnyville RCMP say they received a report of a robbery where an unknown man entered a person’s camper, “and demanded the victim give him everything he had and to see what was inside the trailer, all the while holding a can of bear mace.”
The suspect left with the victim's cell phone. The victim was not harmed.
“RCMP quickly located the suspect and placed him under arrest,” according to information from police.
Maximus Willows, 20, of Edenwold, Sask., was charged in relation to the incident. A Justice of the Peace released Willows on no cash to appear in court on Oct. 15.
