BONNYVILLE - The Municipal District of Bonnyville has issued a State of Local Emergency (SOLE) in relation to the fire located north of Highway 660 and north of Evergreen Estates in the Moose Lake area.
There is no evacuation order at this time.
The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority, Alberta Forestry, and several local contractors are currently on scene and working to extinguish the blaze. RCMP and members from the M.D.’s Public Safety Department are also in the area assisting with traffic control and other measures.
