NDHS students make sure no stone was left alone

Students from Notre Dame High School participated in No Stone Left Alone on Nov. 10

BONNYVILLE - Students from Notre Dame High School (NDHS) paid their respects to fallen soldiers in honour of Remembrance Day.

On Tuesday, Nov. 10, the Grade 12 students braved the snow to lay poppies on the gravesites of former military members as part of the No Stone Left Alone initiative, which honours the sacrifice and service of Canada's military by educating youth and placing poppies on the headstones of veterans every November.

The class also made a stop to the Bonnyville Friendship Centre to lay poppies at the indigenous veterans display set up beside the centre.
