Polls are open, do you know where to vote?

For voters who didn't take advantage of early polling stations, May 29 is the last chance to cast a ballot in the 2023 Alberta Provincial Election. Across the provinces voting stations opened at 9 a.m. and will remain open until 8 p.m.

LAKELAND - For voters who didn't take advantage of early polling stations, May 29 is their last chance to cast a ballot in the 2023 Alberta Provincial Election.

Across the province, voting stations opened at 9 a.m. this morning and will remain open until 8 p.m. this evening.

The majority of Alberta residents should have received a voter card in the mail that outlines where residents are supposed to vote on election day. Those who did not receive a voter card can enter their mailing address at www.elections.ab.ca or call 1-877-422-8683 to find where their designated polling station is located.

To vote, you must prove your identity and current address.

Information provided by Elections Alberta states to cast a vote, Alberta residents must:

  • Provide one piece of Government-issued photo ID, including your full name, current address, and photo
  • Provide two pieces of ID, both containing your full name, and with one showing your current physical address
  • Have another registered elector in your voting area vouch for you
  • Have an authorized signatory complete an attestation form
