COLD LAKE - Emergency crews are on scene at a serious collision along Highway 28.
As of 5:30 p.m., the highway is still closed between the Beaver River bridge and the Pierceland turn-off. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
Cold Lake RCMP stated in a release, "The Cold Lake RCMP are investigating a Serious Injury Collision at the intersection of Hwy 28 and Hwy 55 East. Police, Fire and EMS are on scene. Please avoid the area if possible. Emergency Services are working to set up detours. Expect delays."
