Shotgun and stolen property found in search

Bonnyville RCMP located stolen property and a 12-gauge shotgun during a search warrant.

On Oct. 6, RCMP arrested 19-year-old Carter Mundt which resulted in a search warrant where police located stolen property and a 12-gauge shotgun.

Mundt, a Bonnyville resident, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and failing to comply with a probation order.

He was released from the Bonnyville detachment by a Justice of the Peace and is set to appear in court in Bonnyville on Oct. 22.

Police investigate considerable damage to parked vehicle

Police received a complaint about “considerable damage” done to a vehicle parked on 50 Ave.

According to Sgt. Kim Hillier, on Oct. 10, RCMP were notified of the incident where it appeared someone had attempted to steal a 1995 GMC. Although the suspects were unsuccessful, “they did damage to the vehicle during the attempt.”

Break-in at Hwy. 660 business

TOMCO Production Services reported a break and enter to RCMP on Oct. 9.

Officers attended the Hwy. 660 business and observed video footage of the incident.

RCMP are looking for three individuals driving a grey/silver pick-up truck with an extended cab, bright lights and fog lights, and a front ram cage on the bumper.

Anyone who may have information about this incident should contact police.

Vehicles rummaged through, truck stolen

RCMP are looking for a vehicle that was first reported rummaged through and later stolen from local business JB Crushing.

Police responded to the complaint on Oct. 8, after three vehicles had been gone through. Later that day, the business contacted police again after the white Dodge Ram had been stolen. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the local RCMP.
