BONNYVILLE – On Monday night, fire crews from Station 5 Bonnyville rushed to two calls occurring less than an hour apart.
At 8:50 p.m. crews responded to a collision between a vehicle and moose near Range Road 460 and Township Road 604.
“No one was transported by ambulance, but the vehicle was towed,” confirmed Regional Fire Chief Dan Heney, with the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority.
Shortly afterwards, Station 5 firefighters responded to a fire alarm near Twp 604 and RR 464A at 9:40 p.m.
On arrival, crews found that there was no fire and that the alarm was sounding in error.
“Crews helped silence the alarm in preparation for a reset by the staff,” stated Heney.
