BONNYVILLE - Timberwolf Environmental Services recently won the trailblazer award for Alberta Construction Safety Association at an annual conference held in Calgary, winning the award in back-to-back years.

The award is given to companies that demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety, while promoting health and safety in the communities they serve.

There are two categories for the award for both mid-sized and large companies. Timberwolf won the award as the large association recipient for the Northeast region.

“It's an honour and it's credit to everybody who works hard on making sure that safety is the number one priority every single day,” says Reg Rivard, partner of Timberwolf Environmental Services, “I think it's a combination of just staying focused on supporting the community that we live in.”

Timberwolf has a high score on their certificate of recognition every year and diligently follows safety measures.

Rivard also mentioned overcoming adversity that comes with working in the oil and gas industry and the challenging years that come with it.

“We're very proud of the culture that we have here at Timberwolf. With our people, we have a lot of individuals who have been with our team for a lot of years. And we've all grown together, continue to work together and focus on safety and respect within the workplace.”

Timberwolf Environmental Services sponsors numerous community organizations including Ashling Gymnastics Club, Bonnyville Minor Hockey Association, and Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs Club.

Timberwolf Environmental Services provides oil and gas companies with services such as secondary containment systems, remediation, erosion control, vegetation spraying, lease clean-ups, and much more.
