BONNYVILLE – The Town of Bonnyville is hosting an open house for the Downtown and Main Street Streetscape and Urban Landscape Strategy, where residents can check out the current ideas and contribute feedback.

“The strategy will recommend future streetscape design options including guidelines for façade improvements, building design, and site planning, and establish an implementation plan to achieve the vision. The strategy will guide future growth initiatives to ensure a uniform look and feel for the community along 50 Avenue,” according to the Town of Bonnyville.

Residents can drop in to the open house on Jan. 30, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre.

The Town previously held an Urban Design Project Survey to collect public feedback on the community's vision for the downtown, recognizing that the downtown area and main street “play an important role as a key business and tourist destination for the Town of Bonnyville and the surrounding region,”
