Vehicle theft continues in Bonnyville

The Bonnyville RCMP were kept busy last with dealing with 133 investigations from February 23 to March 1. Two hours after receiving a call of an SUV stolen from the 4100 block of 43 Ave. on Feb.

BONNYVILLE - The Bonnyville RCMP were kept busy last with dealing with 133 investigations from February 23 to March 1.

Two hours after receiving a call of an SUV stolen from the 4100 block of 43 Ave. on Feb. 28, police responded to a report of an SUV on fire five miles northwest of Iron River, according to information provided by  Staff Sgt. Sarah Parke. 

“Bonnyville RCMP are awaiting official confirmation from the K Division Auto Theft section but it’s believed to be the same vehicle stolen overnight.”

On February 26th at 1:30 a.m., a truck and trailer were stolen from the yard of a local business west of Bonnyville. RCMP are on the lookout for the stolen 2019 white Ford F250 with Alberta licence plate CNV 2626 and a black Double A trailer with Alberta licence plate 6EF892.  

Anyone with information on any of these vehicle thefts is encouraged to contact the Bonnyville RCMP.
