Fire truck and Police vehicle lights were flashing outside of Sobeys in Bonnyville as RCMP officers and firefighters congregated nearby, promoting the donation of food items, cash, or grocery gift cards.

The Orphan Well Association (OWA) released a statement reporting “additional mitigation measures” to ensure the safety of homes effected by the orphan well and methane leak between 45th and 46th avenue in Bonnyville.

BONNYVILLE - A stretch of highway located south of LaCorey has reopened to traffic following a collision that took place at about 1 a.m. on Sunday.
