Northern Lights Public Schools (NLPS) is working on juggling their budget after the province announced the re-allocation of three main education grants.

A routine traffic stop in Cold Lake ended in drug-related charges. Sheldon Troy Bienvenu was arrested and charged on Oct. 10 after Cold Lake RCMP conducting regular patrols spotted a vehicle that looked to be unfit for the road.

Angel Blackman, a 28-year-old Cold Lake woman, has been charged in relation to a firearms complaint.
