Air cadets soared to new heights this summer in Bonnyville. Through the Air Cadet League of Canada, cadets aged 12 to 15-years-old from across Canada took part in the general training and basic aviation camps held in Cold Lake.

It’s not often local RCMP, bylaw, or the SPCA are called regarding pets being left in hot vehicles, in fact, it’s only happened once so far this summer.

Ella’s Closet is raising funds for local charities while offering great deals on second-hand ladies clothing. The thrift store is run by the Dr. Margaret Savage Crisis Centre (DMSCC).

A motorcyclist was lucky to walk away from a collision where he was thrown from his bike. “The driver of the motorcycle wasn’t seriously injured, but at the time, it was thought that he may have been,” described Bonnyville RCMP Sgt. Kim Hillier.
