Bonnyville is getting ready for another year.

Losing someone you love is never easy, but at a time like Christmas it can be even harder. For over 15 years, the Tree of Hope has been a shining light during the holidays for those dealing with a loss.

The Bonnyville Seniors' Society is crossing their fingers for a provincial grant to complete some much-needed repairs. Their building's aging flat roof has seen better days, and is starting to leak.

Daycare could be getting more affordable for families living in and around Bonnyville. The Bonnyville and District Daycare is in the midst of applying for a provincial program that would lower the cost to $25 per day.
