A few Edmonton residents raised concerns last week after an article in the Nouvelle said Bonnyville town council would donate to Envision Edmonton to help keep the downtown airport open.

The Bonnyville and District Oil and Gas Show committee held an information night Oct. 7 for the public and interested parties to discuss ideas and learn more about the event.

Ground was officially broken on the site of the new Cold Lake Community Event Arena Oct. 6. Political figures and industry officials from the area were in attendance for the ceremony, speeches and barbeque.
