City of Cold Lake acknowledges Pink Shirt Day

COLD LAKE - Last week, the City of Cold Lake raised a "Bully Free" flag on Feb. 22, in honour of Pink Shirt Day. The day is nationally recognized across the country, and aims to prevent bullying in all forms.

Some of the staff from Cold Lake City Hall joined Mayor Craig Copeland in a photo, showing their pink attire in support of Pink Shirt Day.

Cold Lake FCSS was also involved in Pink Shirt Day activities. The FCSS department is home to the Cold Lake Bully Free Committee, which is a group that works year-round to raise awareness through various campaigns, events and presentations.
