COLD LAKE - An Easter tea and bake sale took place at the Trinity United Church in Cold Lake, March 16.
Esther Deep, President of the United Church Women (UCW) stated every year the group holds two bazaars, an Easter and Christmas one. Several members of the church and the UCW make the handmade crafts, baked goods and lunch, with sales going toward fundraising for different charities and their sponsor-a-child initiative.
Some crafters in the community even drop off crafts for the event.
"These events help us connect with the community," said Deep.
We were glad to see everyone attend," stated Deep, adding, if anyone is interested in joining, the UCW is always looking for new members.
