During the City of Cold Lake's regular council meeting on July 9, council members deliberated on a request from Portage College for a letter of support concerning the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering School (AMES) project. 

The Cold Lake Air Show is set to provide a substantial economic boost to the community, attracting thousands of visitors and generating significant revenue for local businesses, according to local officials. The influx of attendees not only highlights the event’s entertainment value but also its considerable economic impact. 

The Cold Lake Air Show, hosted by 4 Wing and CFB Cold Lake, is set to be a spectacular event on July 20 and 21, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). 

Todd Farrell, a seasoned pilot with a remarkable 34-year career, will be one of the highlights at the upcoming 4 Wing Cold Lake Air Show.

COLD LAKE – Cold Lake found itself without a doctor available to handle emergency cases at the Cold Lake Healthcare Centre overnight July 9 to July 10 until 7 a.m.
