ELK POINT - Rain on Sept. 29 impacted Elk Point Elementary School’s plans to adorn the playground fences with orange ribbons in commemoration of Orange Shirt Day, but indoor activities continued as they had earlier in the week. Activities included videos, decorating students’ lockers and colouring pictures as students learned more about residential schools and their impact on the Indigenous children of the past.
