The Elk Point Lions Club’s Walk for Sight has been a longstanding tradition in the community.

Elk Point’s revised Fee Schedule Bylaw received a thorough study at the April 22 town council meeting, with the first revision being the addition of charges for false alarm calls to the fire department.

Over the past 50 years, Elk Point Historical Society has taken part in some large group projects, such as the Reflections and Supplement to Reflections history books in 1977 and the 100-foot historical mural a decade later.
