And then there were three: Lac La Biche County COVID count now a trio

Cases triple after first case on the weekend

Just days after Alberta Health officials announced Lac La Biche County had one confirmed COVID case, two more active cases have been confirmed in the area.

The new confirmed case count was released this afternoon in the daily update.

The municipality had no reported cases of the respiratory virus until one case in late July. While officials said the carrier was not from the area at the time, no details on the three cases confirmed in the last four days have been given. No specific information on any of the local cases can be released by Alberta Health representatives.
