LAC LA BICHE - On Saturday morning, Lac La Biche RCMP released information saying they are are currently on scene responding to a firearms complaint and residents in the Beaver Lake area have been asked to shelter in place.
"RCMP are asking residents to avoid the area, remain in your residence if in the vicinity and follow the directions of responding officers," according to police.
Please also refrain from posting police activity on social media until after the situation is over.
An additional release is anticipated, according to Lac La Biche RCMP.
