Erin Berland will be opening up for Sonia Deleo on February 22for the next installment of Music in the Forest local concert series.
The performance will be a part of the entertainment for the 2020 Lac La Biche Festival of Speed.

She is well-known in the community for her many performances at Cafe on Main, Rhyme Time, in various school musicals, and on the stages of other community events, often accompanied by several members of her musical family.
“Honestly, I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember. I probably started singing before I could talk,” said the J.A. Williams Grade 12 student with a laugh.
Berland performed on stage for the first time when she was only five years old, and at 13 she was taking centre stage in school plays. Singing and performing is something that comes naturally to the talented teen, who posts many of her songs to social media channels and has competed at North America wide talent shows.
“It’s my passion, it’s a way to share my passion with others, especially my original songs,” says Berland. “I get to share my feelings with the world, and I think that’s really cool. It’s something I enjoy, and I like when people get to enjoy my passion with me.”
Berland will be the opening act for Calgary-based performer Sonia Deleo. Both women will be performing at the Bold Center during the closing events of this year's Western Canadian Ice Racing Championships.
