The wrap-up of the summer-long Teen Social Club program was a wet and wild success at McArthur Park on Tuesday night. Dozens of participants enjoyed a slip n' slide, bumper bubbles, tie-dye facemask making, a photo booth and a pizza supper. COVID protocols were in place at each activity, including jugs of liquid soap and a fire-truck full of water to keep the slide slippery and clean. A similar event is planned for Thursday night for younger participants of Lac La Biche County Family and Community Social Services'  programs.

The Teen Social Club was free to register and offered participants the opportunity to create crafts, learn skills involved with painting, cake decorating and outdoor activities. Three sessions a week were offered through the summer to keep session sizes down and maintain COVID-19 protocols.
