Highway 36 closed south of Lac La Biche due to crash

Monday night crash near Bonesville, traffic re-routed to Christy Creek Road and Highway 663

Highway 36 south of the Lac La Biche hamlet was closed to traffic Monday night after what witnesses say was a head-on collision between a semi-truck and another vehicle. 
The crash took place in the early evening near the Bonesville subdivision about five kilometres south of Lac La Biche.

While emergency crews worked at the scene, north and southbound traffic was re-routed to Highway 663 and the Christy Creek Road by emergency crews.

By 10:55 pm, RCMP had yet to release any formal  information about the crash, details about injuries or how long the roadway would remain closed.
