If you build it — the Judges will come

Lac La Biche’s Stuart McPherson Library host Lego competition

The Stuart McPherson Library is building up for its sixth annual Lego Competition.

Block-building fans of all ages can submit their Lego creations to win prizes and certificates. To enter, contestants must fill out a registration form by either getting one from the library, or filling out one online. Then contestants can build their creations and bring them into the library at the Bold Center anytime before the end of the day on Saturday, February 8.

The entries will be judged by a panel who won't know who the builders are.

“It is all done anonymously, so contestants don’t put their names on their creations. They get a number when they sign up  - so it is unbiased,” says Katie Blair, the organizer for the event.

There are different categories for the competition based on age ranging from under six to 18 and older. For those who  want to submit, but don’t own Lego blocks, there are some available at the Stuary MacPherson Library for public use.

For more information, and access to the online registration form go to the Lac La Biche County Libraries website
