Lac La Biche-St. Paul-Two Hills MLA David Hanson gave a short speech in the Legislature yesterday, commending the Lac La Biche community for its strong show of support for the victims of the Lakeview Manor fire.
"I was not surprised at all to hear that this wonderful community and people from around Alberta stepped forward to help out their fellow men and women in crisis," he said.
Hanson and his Wildrose Party caucus colleagues were among those who donated to a recent telethon that raised thousands of dollars in cash donations, and thousands more in gift cards and vouchers.
