LAC LA BICHE – There was something for everyone to enjoy at the 2025 edition of Lac La Biche Pow Wow Days, including a three-day midway.
The midway ran from Aug. 1-3 and took place in a section of the Bold Centre parking lot.
Those who took in the carnival-like atmosphere had the opportunity to enjoy around two dozen rides which ranged from ones suited to small children such as a carousel, to more thrilling attractions like the classic Ferris Wheel, the Zipper, and the Scrambler.
In addition to rides, this year’s midway featured a variety of games of chance, with various prizes awarded to those lucky enough to win. There were also 10 food trucks set up on site that sold an assortment of cuisine.
Taking place alongside the thrilling rides was a community bingo at the covered pavilion near the Bold Centre baseball diamonds, which was also the location of the Pow Wow Days ball tournament the same weekend.
The bingo event featured vintage slide cards, socialization, and plenty of fun for those playing.
