PLAMONDON - School might be nearing Christmas break, and classrooms might be less busy due to new COVID-19 measures — and it might even be a No School Friday — but playground zones are still in effect around schools — as several motorists in Plamondon realized recently.
Alberta Sheriffs set up a playground zone speed trap during the lunch hour on Friday, Dec. 4, nabbing several motorists not obeying the 30 km/h speed limit along a section of Plamondon's main street during the specified hours.
