An arrest has been made in connection to an armed robbery that took place at Lac La Biche's Petro Canada service station in September 2014.
The gas station on Main Street was robbed late at night on Sept. 20. In the course of the incident, the station's lone employee, Sangil Cho, was severely beaten and later had to be taken to hospital in Edmonton.
Lac La Biche RCMP arrested 20-year-old Jordan Gary Lavallee on Wednesday, March 18.
Lavallee has been charged with armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault, unlawful confinement, disguise with intent and several firearms offences.
He is scheduled to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on Monday, April 20.
