LAC LA BICHE - Lac La Biche County Community Peace Officer superintendent Chris Clark, Lac La Biche RCMP Staff Sgt. Charles Brown and RCMP Const. Joe Greer joined forces to brave the chilly force of water blasting at them on Thursday afternoon.

The trio had  earlier committed to the wet-work if Portage College Social Work students raised $1,000 for the local homeless shelter. The students raised $1,660 with an online auction and pledges.

The trio faced the water nozzle of a Lac La Biche County fire truck in front of the municipal offices on Thursday afternoon to the cheers of a crowd of supporters.
