The Lac La Biche POST and the folks at Lac La Biche florist and gift shop Reminiscence are once again partnering to offer local businesses a great way to thank the administrative professionals they rely on.
To commemorate Administrative Professionals Week that runs from April 24 to April 30, the POST, including Lakeland This Week and the www.lakelandtoday.ca media franchise, is continuing its local business link with Reminiscence to recognize the front-line business and service providers. Flower bouquets — crafted by the skilled hands of Reminiscence florists — will be delivered by Lac La Biche POST staff to businesses and organizations that take part in the promotion. The campaign also includes advertisements in the newspaper and online to recognize and thank local administrative professionals.
"Being a small business ourselves, and part of the Lac La Biche community for 55 years, we know these kinds of local partnerships keep our business community cycling forward," says Rob McKinley, the publisher at the Lac La Biche POST. "And to highlight that business-helping-business mindset by recognizing the people who truly keep our business community on track ... it's a win-win."
There's still time for local business owners to enter the campaign and thank their administrative professionals. For $110 plus GST, the locally-created bouquets will be delivered to local businesses and thank you-advertisements will be published online at www.lakelandtoday.ca and in the upcoming Lakeland This Week newspaper.
"It's one of my favourite weeks of the year. How could it not be? How often do you get to load up your vehicle with dozens of bright flower bouquets and deliver them to deserving community members? It's hard not to smile when you're surrounded by flowers," said McKinley.
