LAC LA BICHE - Although the warm, sunny days of summer are past, that doesn’t mean popular outdoor sports have to be put on hold until the weather warms up — they merely need to be moved indoors. On Sunday evenings from 7-9 p.m., a small group of local adult soccer and futsal enthusiasts can be found in the Cenovus Field House at the Bold Center enjoying a couple of hours of non-competitive play and socialization.
On a typical night, players warm up by kicking the ball around, stretching, or running before being grouped into teams for a few friendly matches of either soccer or futsal, depending on how many participants show up. Any players wanting to join the kick around on Sunday are are welcome to drop-in before game time.
