The Summer Shack program will be visiting Lac La Biche’s Dumasfield Park over the summer holidays. The free drop-in program for kids aged 6-12 (whose namesake is a colorful wooden shack filled with sports equipment and toys) got underway this week. The Summer Shack, which runs until August 25 and is sponsored by Lac La Biche County Recreation department, provides a variety of activities for local kids, including daily sports and games, field trips, science experiments, as well as sessions that teach life skills and fire safety.
