When do the Cougars play at Plamondon U15 Provincials?

Plamondon Arena expected to be a busy spot for Provincial finals

The Plamondon U-15 Cougars are hosting the Tier 1 no-body-contact Provincials at their Plamondon Arena home ice from Thursday March 23 to Sunday March 26.

The weekend will see the division's best teams from across the province compete for the championship.

The Cougars were already hosting the event, but doubled-down last week by winning the league championships to represent the region at the championships. The Cougars will be playing three games in round-robin action, leading up to the playoff games on Sunday.

Cougars schedule

The Cougars will host Sherwood Park on Thursday at 7:45pm. Their next appearance on the ice will be at Friday's Opening Ceremonies. All eight competing teams will be on the ice Friday at 1:45pm, carrying their team banners. Later that afternoon, the Cougars will face Stettler at 1:45 pm. The Cougars' final game before the start of the semi-final and finals round will be on Saturday at 1:30pm against the Calgary-area Trails West  team.

The Opening Ceremonies and the Cougars games will all be held at the Plamondon Arena

The semi-final rounds begin on Sunday morning at 8 am. The championship game to determine the provincial title goes at 4pm.

A full schedule of all teams can be found at the U-15 Plamondon Cougars Provincials website.
