People driving down Main Street in Lac La Biche in recent days may have noticed work taking place on the corner of 102nd Street near the Value Drug Mart. According to officials with Lac La Biche County, a contractor, RGM Contracting Company, was working on Main Street to finalize the scope of work related to underground power.
RGM is a subcontractor of Carmacks, the County’s prime contractor for Main Street construction.
The continuation of the $32.5 million Main Street construction project, replacing underground utilities and upgrading surface-level features is slated to being in May.
