Conseil scolaire Centre-Est, the school division that Ecole Beausejour is a part of, is looking into starting a francophone elementary school in Lac La Biche.

For local students, last Thursday’s Lakeland Sports Alberta Association track and field districts event was more than a competition, it was thrill.

Lac La Biche firefighters weren’t putting out fires with their water pumper truck last Wednesday, but they used it for another cause as they cleaned off cars during a fundraising car wash and barbecue in the parking lot of Centennial Arena.
