Bonnyville SPCA introduces a spooktacular dog and cat of the week

The Bonnyville and District SPCA are introducing two adoptable pets for Animal Health month. A two-year-old cat, Alley May, and a two-year-old dog, Pheobe.

BONNYVILLE – The Bonnyville and District SPCA are introducing two spooktacular adoptable pets. A two-year-old cat, Alley May, and a two-year-old dog, Pheobe.

Estimated to be born in February of 2020, Alley May is a friendly cat waiting to be adopted and loved.

Her tortoiseshell colouring sets her apart from the crowd, although this little cuddle-monster loves spending time with her furry peers and even small calm dogs.

Alley May was brought into the Bonnyville SPCA on July 29 as a stray found in the Town of Bonnyville.

Anyone willing to take a chance on this two-year-old cat won’t have to worry about litter training her, getting her microchipped or getting her vaccines up to date, as all those tasks have been taken care of by SPCA staff.

Adoption fees for Alley May are $145.

Phoebe the Dog

Ms. Phoebe is an estimated two-year-old Labrador Pitbull mix, and she has been waiting two and a half months to find her forever home.

Pheobe was found in the MD of Bonnyville and was brought to the SPCA at the end of July.

During her time at the SPCA, staff have been working hard on integrating Pheobe with other dogs. Through the process, staff have learned that the young dog is extremely loyal – she loves people, and she loves her toys.

Currently, it is unclear how Pheobe would mingle with cats as it has not been tested so far.

Anyone willing to take a chance on one of the most loyal dogs out there, won’t have to worry about house training her, getting her microchipped or getting her two core vaccines up to date, as those tasks have been taken care of by SPCA staff.

Adoption fees for Pheobe are $300.
