Bonnyville’s Staff Sergeant lends her ear to the community

From Nov. 23 until Dec. 7, RCMP S/Sgt. Parke will be seeking the community's input on local policing from residents of the Town and MD of Bonnyville, Glendon, Fort Kent, La Corey, Iron River, Therien and Kehewin.

BONNYVILLE – Beginning on Nov. 23, Bonnyville and area residents will be encouraged to provide feedback on policing in the Town of Bonnyville, MD of Bonnyville, Village of Glendon, Fort Kent, La Corey, Iron River, Therien and Kehewin Cree Nation. 

The Bonnyville RCMP Detachment’s S/Sgt. Sarah Parke wants to hear from local community members who are interested in providing comments or concerns about local policing. 

For a two-week period, starting on Tuesday, Nov. 23 until Tuesday, Dec. 7, Parke will be accepting input from community members by mail and email. 

By the end of December, Parke will respond to the top issues and concerns presented by members of the public and will publish her responses to the communities' feedback in a variety of means. 

In a statement, Parke thanked everyone in advance for taking the time to work in collaboration with the detachment to identify community concerns.
