BONNYVILLE - In frigid temperatures, four of Bonnyville's Station 5 volunteer firefighter, Coltin Batke, Austin Jackson, Craig Wenzel and Taras Straughan, lent a hand shovelling the walkways for Bonnyville residents participating FCSS Snow Angel program on the evening of Dec. 23.

"Snow Angels are individuals who shovel a neighbour’s sidewalk just to be a good neighbour," states Bonnyville's FCSS website.

"A Snow Angel can be especially helpful to older adults, people with limited mobility and anyone else needing help - even on a temporary basis.” Those in need of a snow angel can pick up a sign to display in their yard at the Bonnyville FCSS office located at 4714 48 Street.
